Obtaining Porous Zinc Oxide Ceramics Using Replica Technique: Application in Photocatalysis

This research investigated the production of porous zinc oxide (ZnO) ceramics obtained by replica method for water depollution photocatalytic processes. Five photo-decolorization cycles were performed to analyze reuse potential ceramics. Statistical analyses using R programming conducted investigate possible significant differences between them. The porosities 46.74 and 62.50% (depending on composition). most successful results achieved in prepared from slurries containing 65% ZnO 1% carboxymethylcellulose, which dye decolorization reached 90.5% after 5 cycles, indicating a high these Multivariate analysis proved negative effect increasing heat treatment temperature evaluated properties. best processing conditions obtain technique established through statistical tools, with very satisfactory dye.
